  • About our Shore  Occasionally omitted from Virginia maps, the Virginia Eastern Shore is a small peninsula 17 miles wide (at the widest point) by 70 miles long. It stretches south from the Maryland state line to the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel which connects us to Virginia Beach. The peninsula is bounded by the Chesapeake Bay to the west (known as Bayside) and the Atlantic Ocean (known as Seaside) to the east.  The DelMarVa shore incorporates Delaware, Maryland and Virginia. Chincoteague Island and Assateague Islands are barrier islands and included in this area.

By most standards, it is very rural and not densely populated. The 2004 estimated population is just under 55,000. The Shore does not boast big cities but has quaint friendly towns.  It's a great place to live and enjoy a sweeter, quieter pace of life; not to mention raising a family.  On the other side of the coin, we are in close proximity to all the big cities one might need!

Regardless of where you are on the Eastern Shore, Chincoteague Island or a mainland Coastal Property, you are never far from water. There are 43 boating facilities. Virginia's Eastern Shore is the perfect place for fisherman and water sports enthusiasts. Annual average temperature is 58 degrees. Annual average snowfall is 6 inchesmap.jpeg.
  • Enthusiasm working for you!
Helping people make one of their most important decisions is a serious responsibility, but something that I enjoy doing. This enthusiasm and hard work will benefit you and help reduce the stress and anxiety often associated with real estate transactions.  Let me help make your dreams come true.
  • Established Credibility
I fell in love with Chincoteague Island in 1988 and began my "come here" residency in 1991.  I've since planted myself firmly on this beautiful Island.  Before entering into the world of Real Estate, I worked as the Bookkeeper for the Town of Chincoteague for 6 1/2 years.  I was also involved with the implication of our public transit system "Island Trolley".  Working with the Town has afforded me a solid  knowledge of the " ins and outs" of local goverment which certainly applies to Real Estate.  I can say with confidence that I'll get the job done right.  I also truly believe everyone deserves the same level of professionalism, regardless of the level of the Real Estate purchase or sale.  Honesty and integrity are the two most important aspects of my role in the real estate transaction.
